The fastest and most effective remedy that I have found is getting a chunk of ginger and making it into a tea. The ginger chunk is placed inside a small pot with drinking water and warm until it comes to a boil. Drink it warm and within 30 minutes the cold should be gone completely. This usually works only when it is only on the onset stage and if it was caused by temperature and not viral. When you start feeling a headache in the back of your head, and some other cold symptoms after some exposure to the elements, then you know that it’s coming on.
