The Forgotten Top Ingredient in Arthritis Relief

Glucosamine, chondrotin, collagen, etc. These are the most commonly known effective ingredients for arthritis relief. And deservedly so as all of those work well. However there is another lesser known one that is extremely effective for arthritis pain.

Boswella. Boswella

A resin extracted from the herb boswellia serrata has recently been touted as a treatment for arthritis due to its anti-inflammatory and pain-relieving properties. Studies have found that the most biologically active component in the herb is 3-O-acetyl-11-keto-beta-boswellic acid (AKBA). This compound inhibits the action of 5-lipoxygenase, which is an enzyme involved in the biochemical cascade that leads to inflammation.

Participants in a study noted that relief was rapid, in as little as one week. Boswella is not only safe for human consumption; it can also be used long term. Researchers expect it will also benefit rheumatoid arthritis as well, and new studies are being started for RA.

This herb has been successfully used for centuries in some cultures for arthritis. It is the plant that produces frankincense from its resin.

Now you can have boswella conveniently in a capsule plus glucosamine, chondroitin, type 2 collagen, vitA, vitD, and manganese. Bottles are available here at Miami Acupuncture Therapy.
